Two Injured In Golf Cart Accident

A golf cart accident has injured two people in Oak Grove, Missouri. According to a Jackson County Sheriff's dispatcher, a golf cart flipped over near the intersection of Old Pink Hill and Ketterman Road and injured at least two people Tuesday evening. The accident happened around 6 p.m. and cause the intersection to be blocked off while emergency personnel responded to the scene. According to authorities, one of the victims was a 2-year-old who was transported to a Children's Hospital and treated for a minor arm injury. The child’s mother was injured when the golf cart landed on top of her and was also taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Her condition remains unknown. None of the victims have been identified, but everyone involved is expected to recover. Details of the accident have not been released.
