Two St. Louis teenagers die in icy road crash

Sadly winter weather in the St. Louis area has claimed another two lives. Furthermore, a fatal crash happened Wednesday night when a car with two Hazelwood Central students lost control on an icy road, and slammed into a pole. The accident happened near North Lindbergh and Robbins Mill Road in North St. Louis. Tragically, the driver's side of the vehicle was crushed, and the impact of the crash started a fire within the car. When rescue crews arrived on the scene, they needed a salt truck to treat the road first before they could reach the crash because it was so slippery. Thus far, the identities of the victims have not been released, yet students on social media are already asking classmates to wear school colors as a tribute to the victims.
