Snow is causing crashes in Ohio

Due to snowfall in the area on Tuesday, there have been several crashes on the roadways in Cincinnati, Ohio. Likewise, four separate crashes shut down Interstate 71 for the morning commute until salt could be poured for safer travels. One accident included a semi, which lost control of his rig and went across all lanes of northbound traffic early that morning.

Another accident happened on I-74 and involved yet another semi which hit a car, and then crashed into a guardrail. Another crash involved a state trooper on U.S. 50 near Ohio 540. Lastly, another semi lost control of their truck on I-71 and crashed on northbound I-75. As a consequence, Monroe City declared a snow emergency due to all of the accidents in the area.
