Semi driver cited in crash

Saturday morning was a foggy start in Hollister, Idaho, and as a result a semi crash took place on Main Street. Furthermore, the semi, which crashed, happened as the driver came to the stop sign at Western Avenue, when driver, Gabriel Keil couldn't see across the intersection. Keil as only traveling at 25 mph but still couldn't stop in time. Luckily instead of barreling through the intersection, Keil instead turned his truck towards the side of the road.

Unfortunately just as Keil was turning his truck to avoid a potential collision, his rig began to roll. Keil was injured in the rollover, but only suffered minor injuries, and a hurt elbow. Likewise, although Keil prevented a larger crash from happening if he had continued through the intersection, police cited him for driving too fast for conditions. Keil was hauling frozen fries at the time of the crash, and it took crews hours to clean up the mess, which was all over the roadway.
