Semi carrying explosives crashes in Oklahoma

People in Choctaw County, Oklahoma were somewhat on edge Wednesday morning following an unusual crash in the area. Furthermore, a tractor-trailer hauling military grade explosives crashed on Highway 271 in the early morning hours. Following the accident, all southbound lanes were closed for several hours after explosive ordnance teams from a nearby base inspected the truck and ammunition. Luckily, all involved were stable enough to be moved off the road to safety. As a further safety precaution nearby schools were delayed to open as a result of the crash. The driver of the semi was injured in the crash, yet reports do not state their condition. Currently, all northbound traffic on Highway 271 is still being diverted.
