Police cruiser involved in car crash

Even with sirens blaring and warning lights going, police cars still can be involved in a vehicle crash. In addition, Tuesday night in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the police car that was involved in the crash on 25th Street and West Lehigh Avenue en route to the hospital with a shooting victim. Just as the police car was passing through the intersection, two different vehicles hit the cruiser; both drivers did not have licenses.

Luckily, the two officers in the cruiser, and the driver and passengers of the other two vehicles suffered only minor injuries. The shooting victim finally made it to Temple University Hospital to treat the three bullets lodged in their leg, and is currently in stable condition. Thus far no charges have been filed against the two drivers, which crashed into the police car.
