One killed and one injured following crash

Tragically in Haskell County, Oklahoma a teen has been killed, and another injured following a fatal car crash. In addition, the accident happened Monday morning on Highway 9 when the 16-year-old driver in a pickup crossed the median into oncoming traffic and struck a semi, head-on. Likewise, both the pickup and semi skidded off and landed in a nearby ditch. The young teen driver was thrown from the pickup and killed upon impact. The other passenger was a 12-year-old who was severely injured with head trauma and is currently in stable condition at a nearby hospital. Sadly, both boys inside the pickup were not strapped into seatbelts at the time of the crash. The driver of the semi and the other vehicle, which was involved, were not injured.
