Fatal crash kills one in Kentucky

Crashes between semi trucks and vehicles are almost always fatal, and sadly this accident is no different. Tragically, one person is dead following a fatal crash, which happened in Lewis County, Kentucky on Monday. The accident happened on AA Highway near the Lew and Carter county line when, 64-year-old, George Burton's vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane of a semi truck. It is believed that due to icy road conditions, Burton lost control of his vehicle, which caused him to crash into the semi. Burton died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the semi was, Keith Bloomfield, who was injured, yet treated and released a short time after. Although inclement weather is being blamed for the crash, it is still under investigation.
