College student injured in hit-and-run

Sadly, an Illinois State University student is in critical condition following a hit-and-run accident, which happened on Saturday in Normal, Illinois. In addition, 21-year-old Benjamin Allison was struck at the crosswalk on College Avenue, which is located near Fell Avenue. Police arrived on the scene early that morning only to find Allison on the ground in the street. There is a man who is currently in police custody following the accident thanks to the public's help and tips, which were given to help track him down. This tragedy is not the first recent hit-and-run accident for the area. December 31st another hit-and-run accident seriously injured a 37-year-old bicyclist, which happened on West College Avenue and the I-74 overpass. The suspect from that accident is yet to be apprehended.
