Three vehicles crash and close road in Vermont

Although some snow was on the ground Tuesday afternoon in Colchester, Vermont, the exact reason why three vehicles crashed into one another is still a mystery. Furthermore, the Roosevelt Highway near Sunny Hollow was closed for several hours due to a three-car collision; included a truck, car, and SUV. In addition, the crash happened when two of the vehicles were headed northbound on Route 7, and the third vehicle was headed south.

Somehow all three vehicles collided into one another, yet the immediate cause is unknown. One of the people involved had to be removed from their vehicle by the Jaws of Life, and two others were sent to nearby hospitals with minor injuries. The road between Rathe and Severance Roads were closed for several hours following the accident. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
