Several accidents close I-70 in Indiana

Heavy snowfall and wintery weather has been causing havoc throughout the Midwest. In addition, due to heavy snowfall in the area, multiple accidents and slide-offs occurred along I-70 in Richmond, Indiana. Furthermore, twice on Monday the eastbound lanes of the Interstate were shut down due to jackknifed tractor-trailers. In addition, one semi jackknife happened at mile marker 147 between Centerville and the Williamsburg Pike exits.

All traffic was diverted at the Centerville exit while the semi was removed from the interstate. Likewise, another accident happened a few hours later when a pickup truck flipped near mile marker 147 as well. Shortly afterwards two more crashes happened within minutes of one another around 154 and 155-mile markers. Luckily, there were no injures reported in the accidents.
