Pedestrians struck after hockey game

What started out as a fun night watching a sporting event, quickly turned into a tragedy for a man and woman after leaving a hockey game. The pedestrian accident happened around 10 p.m. in downtown St. Louis Tuesday night. The pair, which was struck, was just leaving a Blues game when a vehicle hit them near 16th and Olive Streets. Sadly, the woman was killed on impact, and the man is currently in critical yet stable condition at a nearby hospital. The driver of the vehicle was cooperative with police, and stayed on the scene following the accident. Currently, it is unknown why the driver hit the pair, and it is unknown if charges will be filed.
