One dead in fatal semi accident

A fatal semi crash has taken the life of one person in Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania. In addition, the deadly crash happened Tuesday morning on Interstate 70 when one semi truck slid and hit another. Likewise, 53-year-old, Brad Collins died in the crash when he was crossing a bridge, and his truck hit another semi. Collins semi then went over the side of the road into a creek, and he was thrown from his mangled truck.

The second semi driver, who has not been identified, was thrown from his truck as well, but walked away from the wreck. Onlookers described the bridge as a solid sheet of ice, and witness, John Kliest watched in horror as Collins lost control of his truck before the accident. Kliest was a few vehicles back, and felt lucky that the car behind him came to a stop about 20 feet from him. Kliest felt as though the other vehicles would not be able to stop in time to prevent further accidents. Residents in the area were not surprised to hear of the fatal accident because clanging, banging, and crashing could be heard for miles.
