KC woman blames accident on devil

One Kansas City woman is blaming the devil on the reason sheran into a group of teens with her car. Likewise, the accident occurred when Pledger was in a frantic race to stop a fight, which involved her niece, and as a result she lost control of her vehicle, hitting the group of teens. Immediately following the crash, witnesses claim Pledger stated her brakes failed to work, and that resulted in the crash.

Sadly, one of the teens died, and three more are severely injured. In addition, Tamika Pledger faced a judge Tuesday as she has been charged with four counts of reckless aggravated battery. Ironically, Pledger is an announced candidate for the Unified Government Commission, and in the past has rallied against ending violence against children. In a strange twist, Pledger has a GoFundMe page set up to help raise $30,000 to help her pay for mounting legal bills, and yet the family of the teen killed is trying in vain to simply raise enough funds to bury their child.
