Car crashes into house

Late into the night on Saturday in Decatur, Michigan, police received a call that a vehicle had crashed into the side of a home. Likewise, by the time police had arrived, the driver and occupants had fled from the scene of the accident by foot. In addition, the accident happened when a 22-year-old driver was headed eastbound on Pankhurst Drive, and crashed into the side of a house at 83201 M-51 Highway. After the brief hunt, all of the members inside the vehicle were later found by police hiding in a shed nearby under a tarp.

The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was charged with illegal entry and violation of a conditional bond. Another unharmed 17-year-old passenger was also cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption. Likewise, the two final occupants in the vehicle were a 16-year-old and 13-year-old who were unharmed, and thus released to family members. Luckily no members inside the home were harmed in the accident.
