It was a chaotic scene in California Sunday morning following a bus crash that killed one, and has injured 30. Furthermore, the bus was traveling on Interstate 5 early in the morning; about 100 miles from the Oregon border when for unknown reasons it drifted off the roadway, and flipped upside down. As a result, a 33-year-old unidentified man was killed, and two dozen other passengers injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Many of those injured were minor, yet six of the people are in serious to critical condition.
After an investigation into the bus crash, it seems as though driver fatigue may have played a main role in the accident. Thus, far, no citations or charges have been filed against the 67-year-old driver. Earlier in the trip about 50 miles south, the same bus was involved in yet another minor crash then it hit a Denny's restaurant; no one was injured in that accident.
