Kansas Auto Accident

An automobile accident this weekend occurred in Kansas, and left two people critically injured. Two women- one forty years old, the other twenty-four, were standing outside a disabled Ford Escort along the side of I-435. Both women were hit and critically injured when a driver struck them and the disabled vehicle. The driver alleged he was swerving to avoid debris in the road from a crash when his van struck the women.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking more information regarding both crashes. Incidents like this reinforce why Missouri requires drivers operate their vehicle with the highest standard of care possible- great injury and loss of life can occur easily in automobile accidents.
