Meyerkord & Kurth, LLC: A Legacy of Legal Innovation

A man recently filed suit against the driver who allegedly rear-ended his vehicle in an Illinois car accident. The suit was filed in the Madison County Circuit court on February 13, 2014. The man who filed the suit says that he was driving east on Illinois 111 near Bloomer Drive in Alton, Illinois on February 16, 2012 when the accident occurred. The man who rear-ended the vehicle was allegedly driving in the same direction as the plaintiff when he struck the back of his vehicle. According to the complaint, the man who filed the suit suffered serious and permanent injuries, experienced pain and suffering and incurred medical cost as a result of the collision. Furthermore, the man claims he suffered permanent disability and loss of wages. The male plaintiff, seeking more than $50,000 plus costs, blames the named defendant alleging that he negligently drove in an improper and careless manner, drove too fast, disregarded traffic signals, failed to maintain a proper lookout, failed to keep his vehicle under proper control, failed to keep the steering of the vehicle under control and failed to steer to avoid a collision.
