Woman killed in tractor-trailer accident

Tragically, winter weather has contributed to yet another fatal accident in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania on Wednesday night. The accident, which killed 53-year-old, Sally Romano happened at the 3500 block of Knerr Drive when her vehicle collided with a semi truck. Furthermore, the tractor-trailer was south on Route 100 when Romano's car was headed east when it crossed over the centerline of the road and the two hit. The impact was so hard when the two vehicles crashed that the driver's side of Romano's car was completely crushed which buckled the hood. The accident is currently under investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
