It's not everyday you see chicken wings spread across an interstate, yet that's what happened on I-75 in Detroit Tuesday morning. The chicken debris was as a result of an early morning crash that happened in the northbound lane when a semi lost control and hit a median wall. At the time of the crash, the semi was hauling boxes of chicken wings, which went flying after impact. As a result, the wings were thrown all over the interstate, which took crews some time to clean up. The impact was so hard following the crash, the semi was practically impaled into the median wall, and rescue crews had to saw the floor of the truck to lift the trailer off the structure. It was not reported whether or not the driver of the semi was injured in the crash.
