Thirteen children were taken to a Denver hospital after they became sick following swimming at a local hotel. Furthermore, all of the children ranging in ages from 6-17 complained of the same symptoms: itchy throat, and burning eyes. Luckily all of the children were check out, and released an hour later. Although the incident seemed to be isolated, as a precaution the hotel closed the pool while the Denver Health Department investigated the cause of the illnesses. Likewise, due to the low level of choline in the pool, officials aren't sure exactly what made the children sick, and the hotel manager said no other injuries of this nature have been reported.
