Woman Crosses Centerline, Collides with Oncoming Vehicle
A woman from Cuba, Missouri died yesterday afternoon when her vehicle collided with an oncoming pickup truck. The accident occurred in Franklin County. The woman's Chrysler Sebring crossed the centerline and collided with the truck. Police have described the scene as a fiery crash. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck had seven occupants at the time of the crash. The occupants were men from Texas ranging in age from 21 to 60. The men sustained moderate injuries in the collision. According to police, five of the men in the truck wore seatbelts, and police are unsure whether the woman had her seatbelt on at the time of the collision. It is unknown what made the woman cross the centerline of the highway.
