House Springs Woman Killed in Crash

A 78 year-old woman dies in a crash on Highway 30. The accident occurred near Fenton, Missouri. The woman was driving a Buick LaCrosse in the eastbound lane when she suddenly veered into oncoming traffic. A truck in the westbound lane struck the woman, and the truck flipped over as a result of the accident. The two occupants of the truck sustained minor injuries in the collision. Authorities have stated the woman was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

This marks the third highway fatality in Missouri this week. The law firm of Meyerkord, Meyerkord & Kurth, LLC has observed an increase in highway fatalities over the past month. Many of these fatalities are caused by head-on collision. In this case, the occupants of the truck who were injured appear to be victims of the negligence of the driver.
