Toddler Beds Recalled by The Land of Nod Company
Posted By Meyerkord & Meyerkord, LLC
The Land of Nod company is
recalling around 75 toddler beds due to an entrapment hazard to children. The company
reported the headboard has disconnected from four bed frames and which
fell onto the bed. One child was struck by the headboard in one of these
cases but luckily no serious injuries have been sustained. The company
recommends consumers remove the bed from children and contact them for
a full refund. The beds were sold at Land of Nod stores nationwide for
around $500. The beds have a gray and green headboard with a gray footboard.
The SKU number “404485” is printed and attached to both boards.
Thousands of consumers are injured every year due to faulty or defective
products. Companies bare a responsibility to provide safe and reliable
products to consumers and a responsibility to alert them if there are
any safety issues. These products can cause major injuries to consumers
which can equal large medical bills and stress. However, the company who
sold the unreliable product could be held liable for your injuries and
any bills associated with those injuries. Always contact a reputable product
liability attorney to discuss your potential case. An attorney can help
decide if you have legal grounds to pursue action for your injuries.
