Three Vehicle Accident Sends Three to the Hospital
Posted By Meyerkord & Meyerkord, LLC
A three vehicle
accident in Colorado sent at least three people to the hospital with serious injuries.
The accident involved an SUV, a tow truck that was pulling an RV, and
a semi- truck that was transporting human waste. Emergency crews were
called to the scene to assist with the accident as well as the human waste
that spilled out during the accident. Authorities reported that the responding
emergency crews were on the scene most of the afternoon cleaning up the
accident and removing the RV which was on its side and blocking the road.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated by the State patrol.
There are thousands of accidents each year that involve semi-trucks. These
trucks transport around 11 billion tons of freight each year so it is
not unusual to see these rigs on the road. Semi-trucks are at a disadvantage
due to the size of their trailers and the blind spots that they cause.
Drivers should always be alert when encountering a semi-truck on the road.
Accidents can occur anytime but especially when trucks are attempting
to pass a vehicle or changing lanes. Remaining alert can help prevent
accidents but if you or a loved one is injured by a semi-truck please
contact a personal injury attorney immediately. These accident cases can
be sensitive and an experienced attorney will help determine if you have
grounds to pursue legal action.
