Burn and Explosion Hazards Spark Firework Recall
Posted By Meyerkord & Meyerkord, LLC
Matrix Fireworks is
recalling fireworks due to explosion and burn hazards. The company reports that
the overloaded fireworks are violated the federal regulatory standard
for this product. This product can cause larger explosions than expected
and pose burn and explosion hazards to their consumers. The recalled firework
is listed as a fountain but acts as a larger firecracker. The company
is refunding around 56,200 fireworks that are affected by the recall.
Consumers are being urged to not use the fireworks and return them to
the place of purchase to receive a full refund. The recalled fireworks
were sold from May 2017 through August 2017 for $15.
Thousands of consumers sustain injuries each year from faulty or defective
products. These injuries can range from minor to severe and can cause
major stress to consumers. Consumers can be left with large medical bills,
unpaid leave from work, possible physical therapy needs and even home
improvements for those that sustain life altering injuries. How will you
or your loved ones pay for these medical expenses? An experienced product
liability attorney can assist you with pursuing legal action for your
injuries. They will help determine if the product company is liable for
your injuries and can help you receive compensation for those injuries.
