It is unclear as to how a 48-year-old man fell over the railing to his death in a Mississippi casino earlier this year. He may have been trying to catch a pack of cigarettes that were thrown to him. The location of the accident occurred was near a buffet and the guest check in. A witness provided a statement in regards to the fact that the man was trying to catch a pack of cigarettes thrown by a female later noted to be his fiancé.
Pictures of the area showed rocks in the water. The casino declined to comment due to the ongoing law enforcement investigation, but they did express their condolences. Tragically, police pronounced the man dead at the scene and moved to his body to the Mississippi state crime.
