Three Kansas Workers Injured In Industrial Accident

Three Kansas workers have been injured at a steel fabrication supplier in an
industrial accident just northeast of Hutchinson. According to the Reno County Sheriff's
Office, three people were hurt when a pressurized water tank exploded.
The industrial accident happened on Thursday at Wifco Steel Products.
Officials report one of the workers is in critical condition at a Wichita
hospital. The other two workers are in fair condition, and one was released
from the hospital.
The Wifco Steel Products has not made a public statement, but the accident
is under investigation by the Federal agency, OSHA. According to their
website, Wifco Steel Products Inc is a steel fabrication supplier of tanks,
industrial stairways, and walkway. The supplier is located at 8003 Medora
Rd, Hutchinson, KS 67502. No further details have been released, and the
identities of the victims are unknown.
