Fiery Crash Claims Life in Eureka

|

A single-vehicle auto accident resulted in the death of one man on Saturday afternoon. According to authorities, the car accident happened at around 3:20 p.m. when a 63-year-old man from Ballwin was operating a vehicle on eastbound Interstate 44. Preliminary reports indicate that the man’s vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with a tree near Lewis Road. Upon impact, the vehicle burst into flames killing the driver. An investigation is being conducted to determine a cause.

Many people involved in single-vehicle auto accidents assume that they do not have grounds to file a case. This assumption is false and regardless of the type of accident, one should never dismiss the possibility of a case without first seeking a legal consultation. While driver negligence is a major cause of car accidents, vehicle design flaws and mechanical defects can also contribute to a crash. Victims of auto accidents could be entitled to compensation for medical bills, lost wages, property damages, and mental anguish.
