Fiery SUV Accident Results in Five Fatalities

|

During the very early hours of Thursday, a fiery car crash resulted in the death of five individuals. At approximately 12:30 a.m., an SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a concrete barrier and landed 30 - 50 feet below on Interstate 10 in Phoenix, Arizona. The impact caused the vehicle to burst into flames. After extinguishing the fire, investigators believe the victims to be two adults and three children. They are uncertain if the impact of the crash caused their deaths of if the fire is to blame. Authorities discovered skid marks on the overpass indicating the driver attempted to stop the vehicle. The accident is continuing to be investigated.
