St. Louis Man Charged After Auto Accident Killed Man and Infant

A St. Louis man has been charged stemming from a fatal auto accident that occurred last month. That accident occurred on March 24 when a 29-year-old man was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. He drove his vehicle into the intersection of McRee Avenue and S. Vandeventer Avenue when he collided with another car. The crash claimed the lives of a 40-year-old man and a 2-month-old infant. The St. Louis police determined that the driver was traveling at a speed of 70 mph in a 30 mph zone while operating his vehicle with a blood alcohol level well above the legal limit. He has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action.
