Wisconsin Frozen Pork Sausage Recalled

Recently Kenosha Beef International LTD, which is located in Wisconsin, has recalled over 89, 235 pounds of pork due to contamination of metal fragments. Furthermore, the frozen pork sausage patties that are recalled include the following:

  • 24-oz. cartons-Johnsonville Cheddar Cheese and Bacon
  • 13.5 lb. cases-Johnsonville Cheddar Cheese and Bacon with, nine 24 oz. cartons

Likewise, the establishment number marked on the package is EST. 425B, and a best by date of 12/29/15. All recalled pork was shipped to Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Texas, and Wisconsin. The metal fragments were found after the company received several complaints. Where the metal came from or how it ended up in the food, is still unknown. Thus far no injuries, illness, or adverse reactions have been linked to the recall.
