Penn State Student Killed in Car Crash

Tragically a 19-year-old Penn State University student has been killed in a fatal car crash. In addition, six other students were injured and one killed on Sunday afternoon in a one-car crash which happened on the Pennsylvania turnpike. Prior to the car crash, the students were returning from a trip to get donations for a nationally known philanthropy organization known as, Thon.

Student, Vitalya “Tally” Sepot was a passenger in the vehicle and died at the scene. Sepot was a graphic design major and part of an Alpha Chi Omega sorority which was returning from the weekend of canning for donations. The other unidentified students that were injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

  • Victoria Barret, 18
  • Sara Bixby, 18
  • Claire Fountas, 19
  • Matthew Hrynkow, 20
  • Brooke Kalodner, 18
  • Max Titlebaum, 20

According to police, the cause of the accident is unknown, but is under investigation.
