Missing Man's Vehicle Involved in Fatal Car Accident

|

As a bicyclist was riding along Highway 110 on Saturday, he noticed evidence of a car accident. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the accident just outside of De Soto, Missouri and discovered a crashed maroon Chevy Lumina in a wooded ravine. The Chevy is registered to 29-year-old Andrew Craig. Craig was reported missing in June and was last seen on June 2. The driver of the Chevy had been ejected during the crash, and the body was discovered near the wreckage. Although Craig’s wallet was located inside the vehicle, the body will not be identified until the autopsy report is complete. Authorities and Craig’s family believe the remains belong to Craig and that he was involved in a single-vehicle accident around the time of his disappearance.
