Jenner Could Serve Time in Jail Following Fatal Car Crash

|

Last February, the then Bruce Jenner rear-ended a vehicle, which caused it to collide with another, and one woman sadly died. Now, Jenner, who now goes by Caitlyn since her transition from male to female, fears she could end up in jail.

A lawsuit is now pending in the death of the 69-year-old woman who was killed in the California car accident, and Jenner is facing potential manslaughter charges. Jenner recently sat down to do an interview with the Today show, and didn’t say much due to being muzzled from the ongoing litigation. Jenner did express her growing fears of being locked up as a transgender in a male prison versus serving at a female one.

According to legal experts it is highly possible that Jenner could face jail time, although the heaviest charge may end up being misdemeanor manslaughter. For now, investigators are stating that Jenner was not speeding at the time of the car crash, but was traveling at too high of speeds for the rainy road conditions. If convicted of the crime, Jenner could face up to a year in the county jail.
