A Marine Corp. veteran was killed in a workplace accident at a business in Anderson County, South Carolina. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon at STEC Equipment located on Old Denver Road. According to Don McCown, the Anderson County Coroner, 28-year-old William Edward Martin, was killed due to a severe head injury. He was working on a front end loader that was supported by a forklift when the forklift moved causing the boom to strike Martin’s head. Local authorities, as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, are investigating the accident.
