Man Flees Hit and Run Accident on Foot

Authorities in St. Charles County, Missouri are searching for a suspect for his role in a hit and run accident. The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2:55 p.m. According to police, the suspect was operating a vehicle when he failed to yield to another vehicle at Elhmann Road and Truman Road, resulting in a crash. The impact forced the second vehicle to collide with a county police officer on a motorcycle. The driver and passenger of the first vehicle fled from the scene of the accident on foot, and the passenger was arrested shortly after the accident.
