Man Dies in Workplace Accident

A workplace accident has claimed the life of a teenager in Alabama. The accident took place on Monday night at approximately 6 p.m. in Tuscumbia. According to the Tuscumbia Police, 19-year-old Michael Perry was working on the roof of a Marley Flexco Plant building when he fell through a skylight, landing 25 feet below. Perry, who is from Tennessee, was transported to the hospital by ambulance where he died from injuries sustain in the fall. The police are investigating the accident, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration will likely join the investigation.
