Franklin County Car Accident Kills Driver

A one-vehicle auto accident in Franklin County, Missouri has claimed the life of the driver. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Spencer Dixon was operating a pickup truck on St. Louis Rock Road near Union Saturday night. Dixon was traveling eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle around a curve in the roadway. At approximately 11 p.m. the truck overturned and Dixon was ejected from the vehicle near Highway V. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene of the accident, and authorities are continuing the investigation.
