A father and son were killed in an auto accident on Friday afternoon. Keith Joseph Jr., a defensive lineman for Mississippi State, and his father, Keith Joseph Sr., a former Mississippi State football player, were both killed in the accident. The accident happened near Leakesville, MS at approximately 2:50 p.m. According to authorities, Joseph Jr. was operating a 2011 Chevrolet pickup truck along Highway 57 when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck collided with the median and overturned several times. Joseph Jr. and his father were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. MSU officials released statements expressing their sympathy, and the accident is under investigation.
