DUI Charge, 4th for St. Louis Woman

A St. Louis woman was charged with her fourth driving under the influence charge stemming from an auto accident that happened in March. The accident happened in St. Louis County when 55-year-old Tamera Jean Ward was operating her vehicle intoxicated along Telegraph Road. She admitted to police officers at the scene of the accident that she had consumed around eight to nine beers. The results from her breath and blood alcohol tests confirmed that she was driving under the influence. Her BAC was almost twice the legal limit at .15%. According to court documents, she has three previous DUI charges in which she pleaded guilty. Ward is being held on a $50,000 bond.
