On Monday night, a car accident resulted in the death of a 9-year-old girl in Clinton, Maryland. The accident happened when a driver operating a vehicle traveling northbound on Woodyard Road failed to yield when attempting to make a left turn onto Canberra Driver resulting in a collision with another vehicle. The driver was uninjured in the accident, but 9-year-old Daichell Brown sustained serious injuries in the collision resulting in her death. The other vehicle was traveling southbound, and the driver of that vehicle sustained moderate injuries. The authorities are continuing to investigate the accident.
