It seems as though these days there are several recalls of products from food to toys. Below is a list of the most recent product recalls. Please check the see if you have any of these products that need replacing to make sure you and your family are safe.

La-Z-Boy Furniture

• 2,600 pieces of power reclining furniture. This recall includes loveseats and recliners.

• The product poses fall risk because they can tip forward.

• Five reports from dealers prompted recall, but no injuries reported.

• Check www.la-z-boy.com for specific series/style numbers included in the recall.

GM

• 470,000 Chevy Malibu midsize cars manufactured between 2011-2012 are being recalled due to weakened steel cables in the front seat belt.

• 53,000 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks manufactured in 2015 are recalled due to seat frame hooks improperly installed.

Ikea

• 75,000 safety gates are recalled due to the potential fall risk because they will not stay closed.

• The pressure-mounted gate will not stay secure between the wall, and the lower metal bar on the unit is a trip hazard.

• The brand is Patrull Klamma and Pat-rull Smidig steel and plastic safety gates.

• Article number on recalled products are: 302-265-21, 500-375-21, 501-919-50, 655-517-10, 700-989-65, and 901-136-01 all sold from Aug 1995-Feb 2015.

Jeep Cherokee

• 69,000 Jeeps manufactured in 2015 being recalled to fix the side airbag software.

Toyota, Nissan

• 6.5 million vehicles being recalled due to faulty Takata Corp. air bags.

• 637,000 recalled vehicles are in the U.S.

• 35 models are affected globally including Corolla subcompact, RAV4 SUV, and Tundra pickup all made from March 2003-Nov 2007.

• Air bags will rupture abnormally, and some deploy with too much force and forcing shrapnel throughout the vehicle.

• Six people have died from this faulty product.
