Buns Recalled Due to Foreign Material

|

If you’ve recently purchased hot dog or hamburger buns, you may want to check the package. Additionally, summer time is the hot season for grilling out, and typically is when hot dog and hamburger bun sales are in full force. Furthermore, H-E-B brand buns have recalled lots of hot dog and hamburger buns, as well as their Hill Country Fare product.

The recall is due to the possible presence of foreign material that may have made its way into the products. Likewise, a terry cloth glove used to handle hot pans may have been broken up into the dough. Therefore, the material could pose a choking hazard if consumed. Thus far there have been no reported injuries related to the recall. The products included in the recall have been made prior to the present date, and current buns on shelves are safe to consume.
