In Nampa, Idaho, two men were injured in a semi crash on Wednesday morning. Furthermore, the semi truck crash happened when the vehicle struck train tracks on the interstate just east of the Northside Boulevard exit.
According to the Idaho State Police, the semi was headed east on I-84 when it left the roadway. After the semi left the interstate it continued onto the grass median in between the interstate and went down a 30-foot embankment. Eventually it came to rest on the railroad track.
The driver of the semi was 52-year-old, Michael Willard, and was injured in the crash. Willard’s passenger, 58-year-old, Randy Deans was also hurt in the semi truck as well. Currently it is unknown if either were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The eastbound lane of I-84 were shut down for nearly an hour after crash. The semi accident is now under investigation.
