Nebraska Woman Bitten by Dog While Running

|

A Papillion, Nebraska woman is asking for the public’s help following a dog bite accident. In addition, Lindsey Zentic was running near Eagle Hills Golf Course when an aggressive dog bit her. According to Zentic, the owner was trying to get a muzzle on the dog, and wasn’t holding its leash when it jumped across the trail and bit her.

After Zentic was bitten she talked to the owner and her daughter, but didn’t realize the dog had broken the skin until after they left. Therefore, Zentic forgot to ask if she would be okay, or need a rabies shot. Although unsure of the exact type of breed the dog was, Zentic says it was a hunting dog that was black and white with brown short hair.

Now Zentic is passing out flyers in the area she was bitten and hoping to find the owners of the dog. If Zentic does not find the owner of the dog by Saturday, she has to receive a rabies shot.
