Army Football Star Killed In Car Accident

|

An auto accident occurred in the early hours of the morning on September 10th in Westchester County. The accident was a single-car crash and was a result of the vehicle colliding with a guardrail. Tragically, the accident was fatal, and the 20-year old who was operating the vehicle passed away. The driver, a young Army football player, was the only passenger in the car. Police are investigating the auto accident for further information.

Auto accidents of all sorts occur about every two minutes worldwide. The top three causes of vehicle accidents are distracted driving, speeding, and driving while under the influence. Driving distracted is way too common, as there are many contributors to this epidemic. For example, some of the most common ways drivers commit distracted driving is by eating, worrying about their radios, or texting. While drivers do not think they are dangerous at the time, the average driver who texts behind the wheel may look away from the road for up to five seconds. Shockingly, that amount is time is long enough to allow a driver to travel the length of a football field without looking when driving a speed of 55 mph.
