Police Arrest Driver of Hit and Run Accident

Police in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, with the assistance of a witness, was able to arrest a driver that caused a hit and run accident on Saturday. The accident happened around 12:36 p.m. when the driver rear-ended another vehicle on Highway 20. A witnessed called authorities to report the accident and then proceeded to follow the driver for approximately 15 minutes. The driver responsible for the accident then pulled over on Interstate 94 southbound and the Racine County Sheriff’s Department was successful in apprehending the suspect. It is unknown if any injuries were suffered in the accident, and charges are pending.
