|

A driver has been charged with DUI stemming from a fatal auto accident that occurred in November. The crash happened in Harrison County, Virginia when 25-year-old Robert A. Skidmore Jr. was operating a white Chevrolet Silverado and attempted to pass a Toyota Forerunner when it struck a blue Chevy Silverado. The impact caused the blue Silverado to veer off the roadway and collide with a tree. The white Chevy struck a ditch and then overturned. Tragically, 30-year-old Michael Bryan was killed in the crash as a passenger in the blue Silverado that struck the tree. The vehicles were traveling on Route 19 near Shinnston. After months of investigating, Skidmore admitted that he was under the influence of marijuana and has been charged with DUI Causing Death.
