Child Car Seats Recalled

|

A recall has been issued for child car seats due to a mechanical defect that can result in an injury or death of a child. Evenflo is recalling their Transitions Three-In-One Boosters Seats that were manufactured from December of 2014 through January of 2016. Thousands of seats are included in the recall labeled with the model numbers 34411029, 34411686, and 34411695. The defect allows children to easily loosen the harass that could result in an injury or fatality in the event of an auto accident. All owners of the seat should contact Evenflo to receive a replacement kit to repair the issue.

Consumer goods are recalled thousands of times each year, and unfortunately, most of these recalls are after an individual suffers an injury, illness, or death. Federal guidelines have been developed to protect consumers by requiring manufacturers to produce items that are safe, free from defect, and properly labeled with any warnings. However, there are some companies that are more concerned with increasing their product than the safety and well-being of their customers. Vehicles, toys, pet products, electronics, and food are recalled numerous times a year after causing damages to innocent consumers. Fortunately, if you have suffered damages due to a dangerous or defective product, you may be entitled to compensation.

The product liability attorneys at the St.Louis law firm of Meyerkord & Kurth will fully analyze your accident to determine if you have grounds for a case. Our personal injury attorneys believe that your safety and health are a priority and when they are compromised, we will fight aggressively to obtain the maximum compensation for your medical bills, property damages, lost wages, and emotional damages.
